We went to Querétaro on Monday, and Dra Favier, who did the surgery, checked her.
She says that Valeria is super OK, and that her mom did a very good job by looking after her since the surgery. Sometimes, the children tend to touch their eye and this kind of thing. The recovery was excellent.
Now, we have to meet in less than 15 days to make a new check-up and agree on another appointment to remove stitches. Maybe we'll need two appointments for stitches removal. Then, she will have to meet the pediatrist who works with Dra Favier, in order to define a reeducational therapy (in that case, an educational therapy) of the eye.
In my opinion, Valeria can look much straighter, without having to so much turn the head to be able to make the focus.
Her mom comments that before the operation she used to walk in a quite peculiar way, as if she was afraid of making a forgery-step, and now, since the operation, Valeria does walk in a much more assured way, what confirms that she can see something through this eye.
In summary, the recovery is on its good way, we still have to get the stitches removed, and define a therapy. But altogether she is quite well.
Ahora, nos citaron para dentro de 15 dias para poderle revisar nuevamente y ya para poder hacer otra cita par apoderle quitar los puntos. O sea faltan dos citas para quitarle los puntos del ojo. Despues de ahi tendra que ir a ver a la Pediatra que trabaja con la Dra Favier para que darle una terapia de rehabilitacion, en este caso, de habilitacion de ojo.
A mi parecer, Valeria puede ver mucho mas derecho, sin necesidad de voltear tanto la cabeza para poder enfocar. Y comenta su mama que antes de la operacion ella caminaba un poco extraño, como con miedo de pisar mal, y ahora despues de la operacion Valeria esta mucho mas segura caminando, lo que pensa que esta viendo algo con ese ojito.
En fin la recuperacion bien, falta quitar puntos, y terapia. Pero en general va muy bien.
Nous sommes allé à Querétaro Lundi, et la Dra Favier, qui avait réalisé la chirurgie, l'a auscultée. Elle dit que Valeria va super bien, et que sa maman a fait un très bon boulot en la soignant après la chirurgie. Des fois, les enfants ont tendances à se toucher l'oeil et ce genre de choses. La récupération a été excellente. Maintenant, nous avons rendez-vous dans moins de 15 jours pour faire un nouveau bilan et convenir d'un autre rendez-vous afin d'ôter les points de suture. Peut-être faudra-t-il deux rendez-vous pour lui retirer les points de l'oeil. ensuite, elle devra voir la pédiatre qui travaille avec le Dra Favier pour lui donner une thérapie de rééducation (dans ce cas, d'une éducation) de l'oeil.
À ce qu'il me semble, Valeria regarde beaucoup plus droit, sans devoir autant tourner tant la tête pour pouvoir mettre au point.
Sa maman commente qu'avant l'opération elle marchait d'une manière un peu bizarre, comme si elle avait peur de faire un faux-pas, et maintenant, depuis l'opération, Valeria marche de manière beaucoup plus assurée, ce qui confirme qu'elle voit quelque chose de cet oeil.
En résumé, la récupération se passe bien, il reste à enlever les points et à définir une thérapie. Mais dans l'ensemble elle va très bien.
